Turkwaz will be performing with our guests from our 2017 Juno nominated CD “Nazar” at the Aga Khan Museum. We look forward to collaborating again with Ernie Tollar (winds), Demetri Petsalakis (oud, lyra), Andrew Downing (cello) and Naghmeh Farahmand (percussion).

Turkwaz appeared in a triple bill with GROOZ and Sandcatchers at the launch of Polyphonic Ground. This concert was co-presented by Ashkenaz Festival and Small World Music.

Canada Far and Wide, Calgary Folk Music Festival Canada 150+ Concert Presentation
Turkwaz will be performing songs of Canada’s history along with Jason Collett, Basia Bulat, Cris Derksen, DJ Shub, Mélisande (électrotrad), Birds of Chicago and Barney Bentall in-the-round, each taking the lead on a few songs as the others jump in, providing support on vocals and instrumentation.
